De Stichting Donemus (Documentatie Centrum Nederlandse Muziek) werd in 1947 opgericht om de Nederlandse hedendaagse muziek te promoten. Daartoe gaf de stichting partituren uit en verzamelde documentatie over de Nederlandse muziek. De collectie is mede opgebouwd als ondersteuning van de muziekuitgeverij en bestaat uit de uitgegeven partituren, documentatie over de uitgegeven componisten en hun composities, alsmede audio-opnamen van uitvoeringen van de werken. Met name bij de audio-opnamen zitten unieke opnamen.

Donemus (Documentation Center Dutch Music) was founded in 1947 to promote Dutch contemporary music. To this end works by Dutch composers were published and Dutch contemporary music was documented. The collection was partly formed to support the music publishing and consists of the scores of published works, documentation on Dutch composers and recordings of performances of the works. Some of these recordings are unique.

De Stichting Gaudeamus stimuleert de hedendaagse muziek en organiseert concerten van eigentijdse muziek in binnen- en buitenland. Sinds de oprichting in 1945 is een verzameling aangelegd van partituren, boeken, geluidsdragers en documentatie. De collectie bevat vooral werk van deelnemers aan de jaarlijks gehouden Internationale Gaudeamus Muziekweek en van hun componerende en musicerende generatiegenoten. De collectie wordt jaarlijks aangevuld met werken van nieuwe Muziekweken en van evenementen als het International Rostrum of Composers.

Gaudeamus Foundation stimulates contemporary music and organizes concerts of contemporary music at home and abroad. Since its foundation in 1945 a collection of scores, books, sound recordings and documentation had been formed. The collection mainly contains work of participants in the annual International Gaudeamus Music Week and of their composing and music-making contemporaries. Annually works from new Music Weeks and events such as the International Rostrum of Composers are added to the collection.

Arnon Grunberg (1971) debuteerde in 1994 met de roman Blauwe maandagen. In twintig jaar schreef hij een indrukwekkend oeuvre bijeen, bestaande uit romans, verhalen, essays en journalistiek werk, en ontwikkelde hij zich tot Nederlands meest spraakmakende romancier, essayist en columnist. Zijn 'levend archief' zal periodiek worden aangevuld. Het omvat manuscripten, typoscripten, boeken, kranten en tijdschriften, correspondentie, reisdocumenten, knipsels, audiovisueel materiaal, agenda's en administratie. Het archief toont de ontwikkeling van het indrukwekkende oeuvre van een schrijver en van zijn imago.

Arnon Grunberg (1971) debuted in 1994 with the novel Blauwe maandagen (translated into English as Blue Mondays). In the space of twenty years he has created an impressive oeuvre, ranging from novels, stories and essays to journalistic work. He has grown into the Netherlands’s most influential novelist, essayist and columnist. His 'living archive' will be supplemented from time to time and comprises manuscripts, typescripts, books, newspapers and magazines, correspondence, travel documents, clippings, audio-visual materials, appointment diaries and admin. The archive reflects the growth of a writer’s impressive oeuvre and his public image.

De collectie bestaat uit stukken afkomstig van of met betrekking tot de dichter, schrijver, journalist en vertaler Johan Willem Frederik Werumeus Buning (1891-1958). De stukken stammen met name uit zijn Amsterdamse jaren en zijn door hem geschonken aan, dan wel verzameld door, zijn vriendin Miep (Jacomina Jacoba Berendina) van 't Hoff-Kools (1893-1945). Het betreft manuscripten, typoscripten en publicaties van literair werk, artikelen en kookboeken. De collectie bevat verder correspondentie, foto's en opdrachtexemplaren van publicaties. Met latere aanvullingen.

This collection contains material by or about the poet, author, journalist and translator Johan Willem Frederik Werumeus Buning (1891-1958). Most of the material dates from the period he lived in Amsterdam and was given to or collected by his girl-friend, Miep van 't Hoff-Kools. The collection consists of manuscripts, typescripts, literary publications, articles and cookery books. Besides this, there is correspondence, there are photographs and there are copies of dedicated publications. Since the donation of the collection to the Special Collections in 2005, material has been added to the collection.
