Henri Friedlaender was een internationaal bekende joodse typograaf en letterontwerper. Deze collectie biedt een bescheiden doch gevarieerd overzicht van zijn werk in drukvorm. Een gedeelte hiervan beslaat het gangbare uitgegeven materiaal, een ander gedeelte bestaat uit klein drukwerk dat hij voor privégebruik maakte. De belangstelling die Friedlaender had voor de Hebreeuwse heilige teksten komt in deze collectie goed naar voren. Dit is te zien in de diverse vertalingen van bijbelboeken die hij zelf heeft uitgegeven. Verder maken een manuscript, een schetsboek, dia's en een aantal brieven, waaronder correspondentie met Martin Buber, deel uit van de collectie.

Henri Friedlaender was an internationally renowned Jewish typographer and type designer. This collection offers a modest but diverse overview of his work in printed form. In addition to the usual published material, the collection contains small printed items that he made for private use. Friedlaender's interest in Hebrew sacred texts is quite apparent in this collection. It can be seen in the various translations of books of the Bible that he published himself. Other items in the collection include a manuscript, a sketchbook, slides and a number of letters, including letters addressed to the Bibliotheca Rosenthaliana, as well as correspondence with Martin Buber.

Arnon Grunberg (1971) debuteerde in 1994 met de roman Blauwe maandagen. In twintig jaar schreef hij een indrukwekkend oeuvre bijeen, bestaande uit romans, verhalen, essays en journalistiek werk, en ontwikkelde hij zich tot Nederlands meest spraakmakende romancier, essayist en columnist. Zijn 'levend archief' zal periodiek worden aangevuld. Het omvat manuscripten, typoscripten, boeken, kranten en tijdschriften, correspondentie, reisdocumenten, knipsels, audiovisueel materiaal, agenda's en administratie. Het archief toont de ontwikkeling van het indrukwekkende oeuvre van een schrijver en van zijn imago.

Arnon Grunberg (1971) debuted in 1994 with the novel Blauwe maandagen (translated into English as Blue Mondays). In the space of twenty years he has created an impressive oeuvre, ranging from novels, stories and essays to journalistic work. He has grown into the Netherlands’s most influential novelist, essayist and columnist. His 'living archive' will be supplemented from time to time and comprises manuscripts, typescripts, books, newspapers and magazines, correspondence, travel documents, clippings, audio-visual materials, appointment diaries and admin. The archive reflects the growth of a writer’s impressive oeuvre and his public image.

De collectie joodse verenigingen is door de Bibliotheca Rosenthaliana verzameld. Het bevat materiaal van 220 joodse verenigingen, commissies en instellingen op het gebied van liefdadigheid, gezondheidszorg, religieuze en culturele activiteiten, onderwijs en maatschappelijke belangen van voor de Tweede Wereldoorlog. Van elke vereniging of instelling zijn er een of meer stukken verzameld. Het merendeel van deze stukken bestaat uit door de organisaties verspreid drukwerk.

The Jewish Associations collection in the Bibliotheca Rosenthaliana contains material from various associations from before the Second World War. In all, it has material from 220 Jewish associations, committees and institutions in the fields of charity, health care, religious and cultural activities, education and social concerns. The collection contains one or more papers for each association or institution. The majority of the papers consist of printed material distributed by the various organisations.

Deze Engelsman is in Nederland werkzaam geweest als vertaler Nederlands-Engels en Engels-Nederlands. Naast correspondentie, onder meer met auteurs als P.C. Boutens, Lodewijk van Deyssel en Felix Timmermans, zijn manuscripten aanwezig van Wildermuths eigen literaire werk en van zijn vertalingen van andermans werk.

This collection mainly consists of handwritten material by or about Henry Raymund Wildermuth. Wildermuth was an Englishman who worked as a translator of Dutch texts into English and vice versa. Besides correspondence with authors, such as P.C. Boutens, Lodewijk van Deyssel and Felix Timmermans, the collection also contains manuscripts of Wildermuth's own literary work and his translations.

De collectie bevat materiaal van vele verschillende zionistische verenigingen van voor de Tweede Wereldoorlog. In de collectie zijn onder andere voorlichtingsmateriaal, uitnodigingen voor vergaderingen, nota's, almanakken en zegelboekjes opgenomen.
