Betreft manuscripten (deels ongepubliceerd) en 88 cahiers. In deze cahiers zijn zowel eigen publicaties ingeplakt als de reacties hierop in de vorm van recensies, artikelen en correspondentie. Met name interessant is deze collectie voor onderzoek naar de onorthodoxe theïstische stroming binnen de doopsgezinde gemeenschap in de eerste helft van de twintigste eeuw.

Bakels was a publisher and a Mennonite preacher called as minister to Warms (1895-1901), Enkhuizen (1901-1907) and Sint Annaparochie (1908-1909 and 1911-1916). The collection consists of manuscripts, some of which are unpublished, and 88 exercise books containing Bakels' own publications as well as reactions to these in the form of reviews, articles and correspondence. This collection is mainly interesting for research into the unorthodox theistic flow within the Mennonite community in the first half of the twentieth century.

De collectie bestaat uit de bibliotheek van voormalig culinair journalist en schrijver Wina Born (1920, Sliedrecht – 2001, Amsterdam). De verzameling telt circa 700 kookboeken (grotendeels buitenlandse keukens), boeken over wijn en andere dranken, boeken die door Wina Born zelf zijn geschreven (inclusief enkele vertalingen) en knipselverzamelingen van recepten. De collectie laat zien waar Wina Born de inspiratie voor haar ruim honderd boeken vandaan haalde en daarmee het culinaire landschap in Nederland veranderde.

The collection consists of the library of former culinary journalist and writer Wina Born (1920, Sliedrecht – 2001, Amsterdam) and contains some 700 cookery books (mainly international cuisine), books on wine and other drinks, books by Wina Born herself (including a few translations) and collections of cuttings and recipes. The collection reflects Wina Born’s sources of inspiration for the over a hundred cookery books she wrote, books that changed the culinary landscape of the Netherlands.

De collectie omvat handgeschreven commentaren en lezingen, collegelijsten en collegedictaten van de bibliothecaris van de Stadsbibliotheek en hoogleraar in de rechtsgeleerdheid aan het Amsterdamse Athenaeum Illustre H.C. Cras (1739-1820). Cras kan beschouwd worden als degene die het vak rechtsgeleerdheid aan het Athenaeum Illustre deed herleven. De collectie geeft vooral een goed beeld van de visie op de rechtsgeleerdheid in de tijd van de Verlichting, in het bijzonder op het natuurrecht.

This collection consists of material of H.C. Cras (1739-1820), a professor of law at the Athenaeum Illustre in Amsterdam and librarian of the Amsterdam municipal library. The collection contains handwritten comments and lectures, lists of lectures and lecture notes. Cras can be considered to be the one who revived law as a field of study at the Athenaeum Illustre. The collection gives a good impression of the view on law, in particular natural law, during the Enlightenment.

De collectie is samengesteld door de bekende Nederlandse wijnkenner en schrijver Robert Leenaers (1943-2004). De collectie bevat circa 110 boeken over wijn, wijnproeven, de geschiedenis van wijn, wijn verbouwen en het bewaren van wijn. De collectie schetst een waardevol beeld van welke boeken er in de jaren tachtig en negentig van de vorige eeuw in Nederland over wijn werden gepubliceerd.

The collection was put together by Robert Leenaers (1943-2004), a well-known connoisseur of and writer on wine in the Netherlands. The collection contains some 110 books on wine, wine tasting, the history of wine, winemaking and storage techniques. The collection provides a valuable view of the sort of books that were published on wine in the Netherlands in the 1980s and 1990s.

Jan Lodewijk Gregory Pierson (1806-1873) was koopman te Amsterdam; zijn vrouw Ida Pierson-Oyens (1808-1860) was actief in het filantropische zendingswerk en schreef boeken, met name voor kinderen. Naast manuscripten van Ida Pierson-Oyens bevat de collectie vele, voornamelijk door familieleden geschreven brieven.

Jan Lodewijk Gregory Pierson (1806-1873) was a merchant in Amsterdam; his wife Ida Pierson-Oyens (1808-1860) was engaged in Christian charity and wrote books, especially children's books. Besides manuscripts of Ida Pierson-Oyens, the collection contains many letters, primarily written by members of the family.
