Dam, Alfred van, 1914-1963

Johannes van Dam (1946-2013) was een Nederlands gastronoom, culinair schrijver, recensent en verzamelaar. Het archief bevat stukken over zijn auteurschap, zijn werk als boekhandelaar en zijn tv- en radio-optredens. Ten slotte bevat het archief brieven, foto’s, dvd’s en personalia. Het archief geeft een goed beeld van de werkwijze van de Nederlandse culinaire journalistiek in de periode van ca. 1980-2013.

Johannes van Dam (1946-2013) was a Dutch gastronome, culinary writer, critic and collector. The archive includes documents about his authorship, his work as a bookseller and his TV and radio appearances. The archive contains also letters, photos, DVDs and personal details. The archive of Johannes van Dam gives a good picture of the working method of Dutch culinary journalism in the period from approx. 1980-2013.
