Bis Repetita Placent (Debating society)

Het Medisch dispuutgezelschap Bis Repetita Placent (B.R.P.) werd in 1882 opgericht in Amsterdam. Een strikt toelatingsbeleid droeg bij aan een hoog niveau van de werkzaamheden. In 1969 kwam aan het bestaan van B.R.P. een geruisloos einde. Het archief bevat notulen, jaarverslagen en correspondentie alsmede stukken van bijzondere aard, die inzicht geven in de organisatie, doelstelling en werkzaamheden van het dispuut.

The medical debating society 'Bis Repetita Placent' (BRP) was founded in Amsterdam in 1882. It kept a strict admittance policy which contributed to the high standard of their activities. In 1969 the BRP came to an end quietly. The archive contains minutes, annual reports and correspondence as well as a few more special items which give an insight into its aims, its activities and into the way the debating society was organized.
